Full-brother to Flooring Porter among Tattersalls Ireland November NH Sale lots
Top-class mares Benie Des Dieux and Colreevy have first foals catalogued
A full-brother to Stayers' Hurdle winner Flooring Porter is among the quality laden catalogue for the Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale, an event that takes place at from Saturday, November 5 to Thursday, November 10.
This year's auction will be held in a new format, with 111 yearlings sell from 11am on the Saturday, followed by 1,151 foals from 10am on the Sunday through to the Thursday and 112 broodmares on the Thursday afternoon.
The yearling session includes a number of well-related individuals such as Annshoon Stud's City Light half-brother to Triumph Hurdle winner Burning Victory (lot 63); Hobby Horse Stud's Sea Moon half-brother to Grade 1-winning chaser The Storyteller (47); and the Clonmult Farm-consigned Crystal Ocean half-brother to the high-class Foxy Jacks (876).
Yearlings out of black type mares include Mill House Stud's Crystal Ocean filly (61) out of Listed winner and Grade 1-placed Polly Peachum and the Telescope colt (54) out of dual Grade 3 scorer Tally Em Up. He will be consigned by Ballincurrig House Stud.
The anticipated foal section includes 133 foals out of black type dams, 113 siblings to black type horses and 29 siblings to Grade 1 performers. Such individuals include the first foals out of prolific mares Benie Des Dieux (813) and Colreevy (811), both by Walk In The Park.
Others to whet the appetite are Sheridan House Stables' Yeats full-brother to dual Stayers' Hurdle winner Flooring Porter (778) as well as Graiguebeg Stud's Milan half-brother (401) to Ascot Chase winner Waiting Patiently and Relkeel Hurdle victor McFabulous.
The catalogue has a top-class line up sires to boot, those including the likes of Affinisea, Blue Bresil, Capri, Crystal Ocean, Elusive Pimpernel, Getaway, Harzand, Highland Reel, Jet Away, Jukebox Jury, Mahler, Malinas, Maxios, Milan, No Risk At All, Order Of St. George, Poet’s Word, Shirocco, Sholokhov, Soldier Of Fortune, Success Days, Telescope, Vadamos, Walk In The Park, Westerner, Wings Of Eagles and Yeats.
Grade 1-winning graduates of the sale include the emphatic Supreme Novices' Hurdle and Tolworth Hurdle scorer Constitution Hill, Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle scorer The Nice Guy as well as Dublin Racing Festival winner Minella Cocooner and Irish Gold Cup victor Conflated.
