Two-time Group winner and 2021 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf runner-up Malavath is the latest star race filly to be confirmed for the Vente d'Elevage, an auction that will take place from December 3-6 in Deauville.

The Tally-Ho Stud-bred daughter of Mehmas was a £29,000 purchase by Star Bloodstock from Tally-Ho at the Goffs Premier Yearling Sale in 2020 before selling to a partnership that includes David Redvers, Everest Racing and Barbara Keller for £120,000 at Arqana's Breeze-Up Sale in Doncaster the following spring.

Sent into training with Francis Graffard, Malavath was placed on her first two starts at two before breaking her maiden at Chantilly that September.

She then went on to win the Group 2 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte before finishing a fine second to Pizza Bianca in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf at Del Mar almost a year ago.

Malavath started her three-year-old campaign this year with a score in the Group 3 Prix Imprudence in Deauville and was fourth to Saffron Beach in the Group 1 Prix Rothschild before a fine second behind Kinross in the Group 1 Prix de la Foret at Longchamp.

The talented filly is set to run in the Breeders’ Mile in Keeneland on November 5.

Malavath is the first foal out of the New Approach mare Fidaaha, a full-sister to American Graded scorer Ceisteach and Irish Group winner Steip Amach.

Her second foal, also by Mehmas, called Knight made it two from two when landing the Horris Hill Stakes at Newbury last weekend for KHK Racing and the Crisfords.

Other Group-winning fillies and mares who will head to the sale include Prix Jean Romanet heroine Grand Glory, Prix Vermeille winner Sweet Lady, Rockfel Stakes scorer Hello You and Group 2 winner and Group 1-placed Amazing Grace.
