Diverse Osarus Breeze-Up catalogue out with 53 individual sires represented
The sale includes lots by Dream Ahead, Galiway, Kodiac, Lawman and Le Havre
The Osarus Breeze-Up Sale catalogue is out with 80 two-year-olds set to be offered including lots by established sires such as Dream Ahead, Galiway, Kodiac, Lawman, Le Havre, Starspangledbanner and Territories.
Taking place at La Teste racecourse from May 2-3, 53 individual sires have entries as well as 25 consignors, including the well represented Hyde Park Stud, which will sell 12 lots.
Young sires represented among the lots include Al Wukair, Churchill, Profitable, Recorder, Zarak and Zelzal, while those with first-crop two-year-olds include Cloth Of Stars, Expert Eye, Recoletos, Seahenge and U S Navy Flag.
Hyde Park Stud lots include a Tasleet filly from the family of Prix de Diane third Little Nightingale (Lot 5); a colt by U S Navy Flag who is out of Listed Pretty Polly Stakes winner Take The Hint (39); and a filly by Kessaar (62) who is a granddaughter of Listed winner and Prix Marcel Boussac third Blue Cloud.
Haras de Saint Arnoult offers four lots by Seabhac including a filly out of the Listed-winning Galileo mare Saturnine (32), while Yann Creff has a half-sister to Scilly Isles Chase and Kim Muir Chase runner-up Mister Coffey in lot 10.
Other lots to note are Ecurie Prevost Baratte's Recorder filly (31) out of Prix La Camargo winner Sainte Amarante; the Adrien Gadeynes-consigned Olympic Glory filly (34) out of a half-sister to Grand Prix de Deauville scorer Savoir Vivre; a colt by Dream Ahead (6) out of Prix de la Vallée d’Auge winner Lady Angele; and a filly by Gleneagles (69) out of a half-sister to Tercentenary Stakes winner Energizer.
The breeze-ups will take place on Monday, May 2 from 2.30pm local time, with the sale taking place the following day from 1pm. Breezes will be shown live on the Osarus website, with videos available after the breeze.
Online bidding will also be available for the sale.
