Coolmore cuts fees for seven of its US stallions

Fresh from announcing that Grade 1 winner Cupid is to stand at Ashford Stud from next year, Coolmore America on Thursday released fees for its other stallions for the 2018 breeding season.

The roster is headed by exciting young sire Uncle Mo and Triple Crown hero American Pharoah. Uncle Mo has had his fee clipped from $150,000 to $125,000; American Pharoah remains at a private fee for the second consecutive year.

Outstanding veteran Giant's Causeway will remain at $75,000 while Classic Empire, at the other end of his stud career, will start out at $35,000. Declaration Of War takes a trim from $35,000 to $25,000 and likewise Air Force Blue, down to $20,000 from $25,000.
