Zenon comes from nowhere to foil Dominating

Zenon was done at 1,000 on Betfair (£15 traded at the ceiling figure) when a long last and seemingly going nowhere in the 1m6f handicap at Haydock. But he began to pick up entering the final 2f and finished to such effect he had passed all his rivals with 100 yards remaining and was going away at the finish. Runner-up Dominating was matched at 1.55.

El Hayem bounced right back to form returned to fast ground in the mile handicap at Sandown, staying on really strongly after being backed at 12.5. Runner-up GM Hopkins traded at evens.

Abingdon failed to pick up after hitting the front and trading at 1.4 in the Lancashire Oaks at Haydock and was worn down by The Black Princess.
