Young guns set to fight out the Arkle with testing ground ideal

Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle (1.30 Cheltenham)

The last five winners of the opening race have all posted RPRs of at least 157 and, although none of this year's field has matched that level yet, this looks a fairly deep renewal.

Willie Mullins has saddled three winners and two seconds in the past five years and the unbeaten Getabird (153) looks another very strong contender. His comfortable Punchestown beating of the smart Mengli Khan (150) rates the standout piece of Irish form and he looks sure to figure in the finish.
