There is obviously plenty of risk involved in backing Takarengo on his hurdles debut in the Paddy Power Games "Don't Think You're Special" Handicap Hurdle at Leopardstown (12.05) as he's never jumped a hurdle in public before.

However, he took off on the Flat on soft ground at the backend of the season and ended up beating a 125-rated hurdler with any amount in hand.
