'We've stepped back with Altior as we build towards the Game Spirit Chase'

Everything is going nicely. We’ve stepped back for the moment now as we start to build up towards the Game Spirit Chase (Newbury February 8) because that’s where we’re going.

Henry de Bromhead, trainer of A Plus Tard
He seems in great form and I've been very happy with him since Christmas. He's entered in the Ladbrokes Dublin Chase over 2m1f at the Dublin Racing Festival early next month and he's likely to go there. That will tell us more about where we stand with him.

Tom George, trainer of Bun Doran
He’s come out of his last race well; we’ve started building everything up again. There’s a strong possibility he might go to the Game Spirit Chase at Newbury; he needs nice gaps between his races and he’s progressing well. He’s a very lightly raced horse. People think he’s been around for a long time but he hasn’t actually had many races in his life, so there’s no reason he’s not still improving.
