Well-bred son of Yeats can make perfect start

Credit: Edward Whitaker

West Country Tim Mitchell

Who's My Jockey (5.10 Southwell, nap)

Has a decent pedigree being a half-brother to the top-class hurdler Hurricane Fly and by four-time Ascot Gold Cup winner Yeats. Connections are hopeful he can make an immediate impact on his debut.

Lambourn James Burn

Dark Destroyer (3.20 Wolverhampton, nap)

Connections think plenty of this three-year-old, who is entered in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and won nicely at Kempton last time. A mark of 75 could underestimate him on his handicap debut.

Others to follow
Southwell 4.10 Scorpio Queen, 5.10 Royal Ruby.

North Colin Russell

Sidewinder (3.20 Wolverhampton, nap)

Still a maiden, but has run his two best races over course and distance, including when third in a strong handicap last time. He is fancied to get off the mark.

Others to follow
Hexham 2.00 Well Above Par, 2.30 Master Rajeem, 3.00 King Of Fashion, 3.30 Ryedale Racer, 4.00 Hattons Hill, 4.30 Teescomponents Lad.
Southwell 2.10 Duhallowcountry, 2.40 Fly Home Harry, 3.10 Fattsota, 3.40 Ballythomas, 4.40 Don Sebastian, 5.10 Leodis.
Wolverhampton 2.20 All You, 2.50 Major Cornwallis, 4.20 See Vermont.

Newmarket David Milnes

William Sayle (2.50 Wolverhampton, nap)

John Gosden's three-year-old couldn't get involved from a wide draw when eighth on his debut at Kempton last month, but the son of Bahamian Bounty has progressed since then in his work on Waterhall.

Others to follow
Wolverhampton 3.20 Revel, 3.50 Free Bounty, 4.50 Utopian Dream.

Racing Post Ratings Steve Mason

Derrick D’Anjou (3.40 Southwell, nap)

Lightly raced six-year-old who shaped as if the step up to a longer trip would suit when finishing third on his Wetherby handicap debut.

Topspeed Dave Edwards

Champion Chase (4.40 Southwell)

Produced an improved display at Lingfield recently and Kim Bailey's lightly-raced five-year-old could break his duck over this longer trip.

Longshot Ed Quigley

Stormbound (2.20 Wolverhampton)

Inconsistent, but has gone well at this track and should be capable of a big run off this mark.
