A number of subsequent winners are expected to come out of this mile maiden at Gowran including Magic Chegaga, who put in an under-the-radar performance to take seventh.

She stood little chance after being very slowly away from the stalls and was detached from an early point in the contest. She was never able to get into a position after that and was being pushed along before they turned in.
