This newcomer was one of three runners for Gordon Elliott in a competitive maiden hurdle and he looks likely to be one who will gradually improve.

He was settled off the pace and his jumping left room for improvement. He improved his position before the straight but whatever outside chance he had disappeared after a mistake three-out. But the manner in which he stayed on from the last was encouraging and he was strong at the line.
