Wednesday's free racing tips: expert selections from the Racing Post team

Handicappers' nap

Catamaran Du Seuil(3.45 Leicester)

Below his best form so far this season, but is potentially well treated as a result and the refitting of blinkers looks a positive.

Newmarket nap

King Of Arms (4.45 Kempton)

John Gosden's three-year-old is expected to be galvanised by first-time cheekpieces after his staying-on third to stablemate Shimmering at Lingfield last time.
David Milnes

West Country nap

Admiral's Secret (3.45 Leicester)

Seems a reformed character since being ponied to the start and can get his head in front again.
Andrew King

Ace tipster

Late Romantic (2.15 Leicester)

Drops in grade and this small-field race could offer Paddy Brennan the option to boss it from the front.
Keith Melrose

Eyecatcher

Thoor Castle (4.15 Leicester)

Has improved with each hurdles outing and looks like an appealing proposition in handicaps on the back of this highly encouraging qualifying run. She caught the eye with some smooth progress in the back straight and wasn't knocked about as the front pair got away.

Spotlight nap

Split Down South (7.15 Kempton)

Three Polytrack wins since joining this yard and he ran a career best when second over 6f here nine days ago, keeping on well over that shorter trip (good Topspeed figure). Return to 7f won't bother him and he's a key player.
Ben Hutton

Speed figures

Split Down South (7.15 Kempton)

The line came too soon over 6f at the same track last time, but the return to 7f could see a return to winning ways. Dave Edwards

Dark Horse

Ardmayle (3.15 Leicester)

Course-and-distance winner who is 2-2 at this track and switches back to hurdles after jumping poorly over fences the last twice. He can go well off his reduced mark with testing conditions to suit.
Olly Eden

Must-have stat of the day

Tom George is 22-54 in chases at Leicester since the start of 2013 (41% strike-rate; +£46.88 to £1 level stakes). His only runner at the track is Celtic Rising in the 2m4f handicap chase at 3.45.
