Newmarket: David Milnes

Roman Spinner (4.00 Kempton, nap)

This Rae Guest-trained four-year-old may not have got home over a mile when third to Kempton specialist Happy Escape last time. The chestnut looked in good shape when blowing out on the Warren Hill Polytrack yesterday morning.

Others to follow
Kempton 1.50 Beehaar, 2.20 Gold Fleece, 2.55 Blame Me Forever, 3.25 Wimple Hall.
Wolverhampton 5.45 Phoenix Star, 7.15 Sea Shack, 8.15 Royal Mezyan.

North: Colin Russell

Tavener (8.15 Wolverhampton, nap)

Hasn't won for a while but is a fair performer on his day. Handles this track well and having shaped with much more promise on his latest start can take advantage of his good mark.

Others to follow
Ayr 1.30 Amberose, 2.00 Paper Promise, 2.35 Glittering Love, 3.05 Peters Cousin, 3.35 Zalvados, 4.10 Finaghty Ayr, 4.40 Onecallaway.
Wolverhampton 5.10 Madame Vitesse, 6.15 Tommy Docc, 6.45 Qaffal, 7.15 Zorawar, 7.45 Dragon Mall.

Lambourn: James Burn

Morning Vicar (4.50 Ludlow, nap)

Well-regarded gelding had some solid bumper form and shaped with promise on his hurdling debut last time. He should be in the mix with normal improvement from that.

Others to follow
Kempton 2.55 Chantresse, 4.00 Florencio, 4.30 Rare.
Ludlow 2.10 Style De Garde.
Wolverhampton 6.15 True Destiny, 7.45 Sheberghan.

West Country: Tim Mitchell

Outofthisworld (2.45 Ludlow, nap)

Respectable effort under a penalty at Fontwell but always shaped as though there would be more to come when upped in distance. Bold bid expected on handicap debut.

Others to follow
Ludlow 3.15 Tommy Silver, 3.45 Miranda, 4.50 Blackjack Kentucky.

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason

Diomede Des Mottes (4.50 Ludlow, nap)

Has progressed on each of his three hurdle starts and showed enough when third in a good novice at Newbury last time to suggest he is capable of opening his account today.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Glittering Love (2.35 Ayr)

Scored four times between the flags and has won both starts under rules including a game course-and-distance victory last month.

Longshot: Ben Harris

Regal Gait (4.30 Kempton)

Failed to live up to market expectations last time after a 469-day lay-off but entitled to have needed that. Travelled well enough before finishing a tired-looking sixth and may strip fitter.

The Raceform Interactive nugget

John Gosden has a 36 per cent strike-rate in three-year-old handicaps at Kempton since the start of 2015 which has yielded a level-stakes profit of £24.66. Beehaar meets that criteria.
