Walsh can turn heads at Ballinrobe
Pat Fahy can make a successful trip to his native west-of-Ireland with Head Turner in a mares' handicap hurdle (5.55) at Ballinrobe. Ruby Walsh is a significant booking for the daughter of High Chaparral who has been kept on the go on the Flat since running in good company in a conditions hurdle at the Punchestown festival.
Head Turner showed a liking for winter-ground when winning successive handicaps at Clonmel and Wexford in the opening months of the year, ridden on the first occasion by Walsh's sister Katie. The going should be sufficiently testing to bring out the best in her this evening, and she should be spot-on having run well to take fourth place under Pat Smullen in a 1m4f handicap at Roscommon at the beginning of last week.
