Chatez has had his issues with injuries, but he showed he still retains a vast amount of his ability with an excellent fourth in a Class 2 handicap at Ayr on his return from ten months off the track last month and I think you can forgive his next effort at York.

For a start, he could well have bounced, but the ground was quickening up that day at York which wouldn't be for him and it's not like he was beaten miles.
