US racing tips: Shane Ketteridge has two Keeneland picks on Saturday

Stolen Base
9.44pm Keeneland (race 8)
1pt each-way

Illegal Smile
10.48pm Keeneland (race 10)
2pts win

The Wesley Ward-trained Illegal Smile can land the hotly contested 5½f allowance contest (10.48) for fillies and mares on the turf.

The speedy daughter of Camacho, already a two-time winner in this grade over course and distance, has bags of early so her draw in stall one can work to her advantage as she can hug the rail and get a nice tow into the race under Jose Ortiz.

Her most recent win four starts back was by a comfortable two-length margin, and she has been running well in stakes races since. There is plenty to like about her chances dropping back into allowance company.

Classic Causeway and Wit head the betting for the Grade 3 Bryan Station Stakes (9.44), but this is a deep field with horses at the other end of the market also holding good form, and one who appears to have been overlooked is Stolen Base, who was second in a Grade 1 here last season.

Michael Maker's colt beat a good field when winning a Grade 2 at Churchill Downs in May and is good enough to hit the frame here.
