Hands up if you're looking forward to the Flat turf season. I've been desperate for it to restart since Harbour Law shocked punters by landing the St Leger last September for Laura Mongan, so much so that in the meantime I started studying the form Stateside almost religiously – all eyes will be on the speedy Jerry Hollendorfer-trained Unique Bella in the Santa Anita Oaks on April 8 ahead of a potential Kentucky Derby tilt.

But let's stay this side of the Atlantic and Naas kicks off proceedings this Sunday with the tricky Irish Lincolnshire and Group 3 Park Express Stakes, both usually held at the Curragh but will be run at the Northern Kildare track for the first time this year due to redevelopment works.
