The big issue leading up to this race has been whether Harzand has the pace to handle the drop to 1m2f after winning two Classics over 1m4f. Admittedly, he could have done with a drop of rain, but he was in front a long way out in both the Epsom and Irish Derbys and travelled notably well at the Curragh last time, so well that he was the last off the bridle.
