Fourth in a decent Naas maiden on his sole start at two (winner now rated 107), he was well backed after moving to Paul Webber from Johnny Murtagh and duly won his maiden, more comfortably than the half-length margin suggests, at Lingfield in November.

That race worked out okay as the runner-up has won twice since, the last time quite easily off a mark of 80, which is 2lb higher than Blue Revelation is at the moment.
