Trick Of The Light backers denied by late Waseem Faris charge

>>Trick Of The Light was matched at a low of 1.08 in running on Betfair to justify 11-4 favouritism in the 5f handicap at Salisbury, but the market leader was run down near the line by the strong-travelling Waseem Faris, who won at 14-1.

The winner often travels well without finding as much as expected, but touched no bigger than 26 on his way to victory.

>>Save The Bees was matched at a high of 95 when headed by 6-5 favourite Alexander M in the 1m2f handicap at Beverley, but the 6-1 chance fought on gamely to get back up and win by a head.
