The plan for Eagles By Day is the Great Voltigeur. His performance there will determine whether he runs in the St Leger. He seems back on track after Newmarket. The Leger may come a bit too soon for Emirates Empire. We’re giving him a bit of time.

He has progressed very well in his three races, and probably heads to Goodwood for the Gordon Stakes next week - failing that it will be the Great Voltigeur at York. He’ll be aimed at the St Leger. He’s promising.
