Wednesday’s meeting at Ayr was run in mainly blizzard conditions on the corresponding card 12 months ago, including the Wine-Dine-Stay At Western House Hotel Handicap Chase (4.10) in which Finaghy Ayr finished a battling second through driving snow. He appears to have excellent prospects of going close again.
