Cheltenham Placepot picks: Paul Kealy is taking on a hot favourite

I reckon we can get the favourite out of the frame in the opening leg of the Placepot at Cheltenham.

That's assuming I Am Maximus goes off favourite as I wouldn't have him at the head of the market on his form over hurdles.

Take him on with the giant , who will relish the course, and , who pulled well clear with subsequent winner Pull Again Green (also runs) at Ascot last time.

I'm expecting better again in the next (12.50) from , who wasn't disgraced in the Ladbrokes Trophy last time, while , who has some cracking hurdles form at the track, is potentially well handicapped over fences now.

There's no arguing with being favourite in the next (1.25), but I like the chances of making the frame, so he goes in as well.

I'll be bitterly disapointed if isn't right in the firing line for the next (2.00) but it makes sense to add another and , so impressive here last time albeit in a much weaker race, could have more in her locker.

One of and Ask Dillon will hopefully hit the board in the staying handicap hurdle (2.35), which leaves just the Relkeel, in which , who has now won with plenty in hand the last three times he has raced below Grade 1 company, is the obvious choice.
