Totalize digs deep to mow down Field
The scrubbed-along Totalize appeared in danger of dropping right away before two out in the 2m4f handicap hurdle at Market Rasen and was done at 260 on Betfair, but he rallied in terrific style, passing most of the field to win going away from Forever Field (1.07).
Despite being one of the first off the bridle in the 7f fillies' maiden at Newmarket, favourite Kiruna Peak kept finding and managed to wear down Conqueress in the final furlong after trading at 34. The smooth-travelling runner-up was done at 1.17.
There was a big turn-up in the juvenile hurdle at Market Rasen, as 4-9 shot Milrow traded at 1.21 before going down to Recognition.
