Wolverhampton Placepot picks: Tom Segal with four bankers in Sunday's perm

By far the best and most competitive race on Wolverhampton's card is the BetUK's Acca Club £5 Free Bet Handicap (2.39) and a case can be made for all seven runners.

Tone The Barone beat none other than Highfield Princess over course and distance in March and has a brilliant record on the all-weather. He must go in, along with Lord Riddiford, who also goes well on the all-weather and looked about to hit top form at Southwell recently.

The two divisions of the It's Time To Turn To Talksport Nursery Handicap are competitive but Flying Spirit (12.05) looked a horse to follow when landing a gamble at Lingfield last time and a 5lb rise might not be enough to stop him.

The second division (12.39) looks more open so a couple might be required and Eurythmical, who should appreciate the step up to 7f, and Manuha, who shaped well at the track last time, look the two most solid ones.

Supaspecialawesome will be hard to keep out of the frame in the Talksport Download The App Restricted Novice Stakes (1.09) and can be banked on, as can Lady Percival, who has taken off over course and distance in recent weeks and will take all the beating in the SCU Selects Expert Tips By BetUK Handicap (1.39).

Sergeant Pep recorded an excellent time when second to a good horse at this track on his racecourse debut. A reproduction of that will see him make the places at the very least in the Talksport Powered By Fans Novice Stakes (2.09).
