Nicholas T has put up two amazing performances at Newcastle, most notably when coming from last to first to win the Northumberland Plate in June. He returns to the track for the first time since in the Betway Handicap (12.50) and from only a 1lb higher mark, he looks sure to go close.

Nicholas T was far from disgraced behind the mighty Trueshan on Champions Day last time and he won this race by a long way last season off the back of a much worse performance.
