Tom Segal with a Placepot perm for Sunday's Hamilton card

It should be pretty straightforward to negotiate the juvenile maidens at Hamilton if you are planning to do a Placepot perm with Source Of Wealth (12.15) looking sure to appreciate the drop back to a stiff 5f having been caught close home over 6f last time and Twilight Prince (1.20) the standout out on form.

The handicaps are trickier, although Dirchill (1.55) was incredibly impressive over the course and distance recently and is still well treated on old form despite his 10lb rise in the weights.

The 5f sprint (12.45) is not the best race ever run at the track and it might be best to stick in the two at the top of the weights, Airglow and Quanah, who both come into the race in good form.

Snookered (2.25) is an extremely well-handicapped horse on his hurdles form and this track will suit his front-running style, while Multellie bumped into one here last time and looks a good one to include in the perm.

If you're still alive by the sixth leg (2.55) the problems really start because most of the runners can be given a chance. The ones I like are the last-time-out hurdles winner Pammi and the course specialist Majeste.
