Tom Segal with a confident Ffos Las Placepot to help you end your week in style

Credit: Edward Whitaker

The star attraction at Ffos Las might well be Bear Ghylls in the opening 2m novice hurdle (12.38).

He has looked a top-class prospect in winning a bumper and novice hurdle and while he takes on a French import for Colin Tizzard, Bear Ghylls is undoubtedly banker material.

It might be worth taking on Desque De L'Isle in the 2m handicap chase (1.12) because he is up another 7lb and didn't seem to have too much up his sleeve at Lingfield last time.

I'm not sure the ground will be quite quick enough for Court Royale so the two to stick in the perm are The Raven's Return and Numitor.

The 2m4f handicap hurdle (1.42) could be the Placepot buster but Imperial Acolyte was back to form at Southwell last time, while Nocte Volatus ran well at Chepstow too.

The family Bowen look to have the 2m3½f handicap chase (2.12) between them with Peter Bowen training two and his two sons involved as well.

Equus Dancer is in great form but Francky Du Berlais might be better handicapped.

The last two races shouldn't be too hard to get through because Invincible Cave is in the form of his life and can actually race off a lower mark in the 3m handicap hurdle (2.42) than when hacking up earlier in the week.

Finally, it is worth banking on Arqalina in the 3m handicap chase (3.13). Venetia Williams can do very little wrong at present.
