Would Bryan Cooper have chosen to ride Tiger Roll in today's Ballybrit Novice Chase (6.25) had he been able to do the weight for Tocororo? I don't think so.

It is ironic to see Cooper returning from almost six weeks out of action to ride the horse on whom he sustained the injury that sidelined him but, if he were able to get below 10st for Tocororo, I have absolutely no doubt he would be riding the four-year-old filly.

Tocororo was a decent 128-rated juvenile hurdler last season, good enough to run in a Grade 1 at the Punchestown festival, but she already looks as though she will develop into a better chaser.
