Time is right for 7-1 Maria to amaze Usherette

Usherette has undoubtedly been one of the stars of the season to date and, having won a couple of Group 2s, gets her chance to win a Group 1 in the Tattersalls 250^th Year Falmouth Stakes (4.15) on the second day of the July festival.

There is every chance she is going to be a better filly again on faster ground and she battled on well to win at Royal Ascot last time, but this is undoubtedly the best race she has run in and she is a very short price.

Of course, she is by far the most likely winner, but on the pick of their form it is not hard to argue that Amazing Maria has at least as good a chance as Usherette and there is every chance she is going to bounce back to the form that saw her win this race 12 months ago.
