Lost out in a thrilling head-bobber with Captain Redbeard. Having pulled a long way clear of the third, Aqua Dude will go up in the handicap for not winning, but the rise could earn him a shot at a decent handicap chase in the spring. He travelled well for much of this, which suggests he can more than hold his own in a more competitive handicap.
