'The track should really suit him' - trainer quotes for Newmarket cavalry charge

Paul Cole, joint-trainer of Majestic Dawn and General Lee
Majestic Dawn ran badly at Windsor on Saturday but we scoped him afterwards and he had a lot of mucus, which restricts the lungs from working properly. He looks healthy enough to me and perhaps with a more positive ride he should have won at Deauville recently. The Cambridgeshire is definitely on his agenda and we know he likes the track. I thought General Lee was good enough to win last time but didn't quite hang on, although the Cambridgeshire has been the plan for him too.

Thady Gosden, joint-trainer of Magical Morning, Saga, Peter The Great, Forest Of Dean and Special Envoy
Magical Morning and Saga are possibles at this stage. Peter The Great could run but he's not great in big fields. Forest Of Dean is entered but he's had a long time off and we may look for something else for him.

Roger Varian, trainer of Glam De Vega, Tyrrhenian Sea, Kitsune Power, Legend Of Dubai, Greatgadian, Fantastic Fox, Devoted Poet and Bashosh
Tyrrhenian Sea is a Cambridgeshire type who ran very well at York last time and could go to Doncaster next Saturday. Kitsune Power won well at Beverley last time and would be a contender – a strong gallop over nine furlongs on good or good to firm ground would suit. Legend Of Dubai has won at the track before and the race will suit. Greatgadian is a tough, consistent type who will be suited by the trip. Fantastic Fox would be a likely type but only on soft ground. Glam De Vega is an unlikely runner as he wants further and Devoted Poet and Bashosh won't run.
