The Punt: James Stevens' free horse racing tip at Windsor on Monday
BANKER
Mondays at Windsor are back and, as you can usually rely on, there is a tricky sprint handicap to get stuck into.
The Cazoo Handicap has 16 in there, but Many A Star looks one with a solid profile and at an attractive price. The five-year-old caught the eye when second at Kempton last month, travelling into the race notably better than the rest but finding a useful William Haggas-trained runner too good in the end.
That rival was making it 3-6 while Many A Star looked as if he needed that run. He has won off a break before but given his size it would be no surprise if he comes on masses for it. He is unchanged off a rating of 80, his last winning mark from 2020, and the Kempton run suggests he is more than capable of scoring off it. Most of his best form is on turf too, particularly quicker ground, and six furlongs looks his trip.
The winner of this came from stall five last season while the two most recent runners from the Paul and Oliver Cole stable have gone well.
