The Punt Daily: two to follow at Ascot on Friday
BANKER
Graphite Storm(4.20 Ascot)
An improving three-year-old son of Delegator who scored for the third time in nine career starts when beating five rivals at Leicester last month. The second from that contest has subsequently run well in a Newmarket handicap when fancied and today's rivals, aside from Bengal Lancer, don't really look up to much. He has some really solid form in the book for this grade and a 5lb penalty won't be enough to stop him. (Tom Collins)
DARK HORSE
Dark Power (3.10 Ascot)
Clive Cox needs no introduction when it comes to sprinters and this colt, who races in the colours of former July Cup winner Lethal Force, could well go under the radar. Winner of three of his six lifetime starts, Dark Power is progressive and the ground may have been on the slow side for him when he was too keen and failed to land the hat-trick at Newmarket last time. Sent off the 7-4 favourite, he travelled into the race like the winner but faded tamely – there should be much more to come off a mark of 90. (Maddy Playle)
