The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Wednesday
EYECATCHER
A big Le Havre filly who has evidently taken time to fill her frame, Tapisserie has run well in all three starts this season, getting off the mark when last seen in a Salisbury novice, and can take this step up to Listed class in her stride. She has to find the best part of a stone to match Viadera off her current rating, but she's probably better than a mark of 88 and William Haggas (11-45, 24 per cent strike-rate at the track) wouldn't aim her at a Listed race if he didn't think she was good enough. She hit the line powerfully over this trip last time and there's more improvement to come.
IRISH ANGLE
Phoenix Open (8.30 Naas)
Most of the runners in this 1m2f handicap fall into the exposed category and they will find it tough to live with Phoenix Open, who can make the most of a huge weight-for-age allowance on his handicap debut. Ger Lyons's Scat Daddy colt wasn't beaten far by the talented Buckhurst and Jack Yeats on his penultimate outing, before finishing well to take third when last seen over a mile. The way he ran on that day suggested the step up in trip would suit and he can make a mockery of his opening mark of 71.
