The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Wednesday
BANKER
Scored on debut last season but lost his next 20 starts and found himself competing off a mark 30lb lower than when earning his first rating when running at Wolverhampton last week. Cheekpieces were also refitted for that run and he duly landed a bit of a gamble, finishing well to win cosily. That aid is retained and although he's 2lb wrong at the weights running under a penalty, Laura Pearson's claim offsets the majority of the penalty and he should really follow up. It's interesting he also holds an entry tomorrow.
EYECATCHER
Play It Cool(5.00 Wolverhampton)
An unexposed four-year-old, Play It Cool looked to have a pretty bright future when recording one win and two places on his first three starts for Irish trainer Andy Oliver. All of those starts came on the all-weather at Dundalk and it's notable that this is going to be his first run on the synthetic surface since moving to Les Eyre. He hasn't performed to his level on three turf runs but could be handicapped to win now.
