The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Thursday

BANKER

Dancing Jo(4.30 Kempton)

Mick Channon's juvenile only beat two out of 31 rivals on his first three starts – all of which came on turf – but was well punted on his handicap and all-weather debut at the start of October as if connections believed he was well-treated off his opening mark of 58. He didn't run to expectation that day and potentially the first-time visor acted as a negative as it was subsequently left off when he ran over 7f here last time out. Again well backed (9-1 from 25), Dancing Jo travelled like a horse well ahead of the handicapper and duly cleared away from the field to win cosily. This is a harder race and he's up 6lb, but he did it really well last time, the extra furlong will suit and he should follow up.

GOOD THING

Breathoffreshair(7.00 Kempton)

This 0-55 7f handicap looks a pretty weak affair and Richard Guest seems to have found a perfect opportunity for his three-time winner Breathoffreshair to enter the winner's enclosure after a year-long drought. The four-year-old recorded all of his successes in this month last year, off marks of 50 and 53 (twice), on the all-weather at Newcastle. He has had a spell in the doldrums since, but looked like he was ready to strike soon when finishing fourth off this mark of 52 two weeks ago and provided he takes to Kempton, he looks a solid favourite.
