The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Thursday

Tom George: trainer of Coral Welsh Grand National Trial winner Wild West Wind at Chepstow on Saturday
Tom George: trainer of Seddon

BANKER

Seddon(3.20 Stratford)

One of my young horses to follow this season, Tom George's talented Seddon makes his hurdling debut in what looks quite a strong novice event but can get off the mark at the first time of asking such is his ability. Dan Skelton's Not That Fuisse, rated 125, is sure to put down a big challenge to the son of Stowaway, but the way Seddon went about his debut bumper victory suggested he could just be different class. He disappointed when just 12th in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham, but has had time to grow over the summer and mature mentally and is sure to improve on that effort.

GOOD THING

Oud Metha Bridge(6.30 Newcastle)

This four-year-old son of Helmet was the epitome of consistency from January to July this year on the all-weather having moved to Julia Feilden's yard from Ed Dunlop, with form figures of 21223, as well as a couple of placed efforts on the turf. Given a mid-year break, Oud Metha Bridge ran below-par on his first two runs back but returned to form at Yarmouth last time out off his lowly turf rating and looks a winner waiting to happen. He's now 4lb lower on the all-weather than when placed at this track in June.
