The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Sunday
GOOD THING
Foolaad(2.45 Southwell)
Prolific eight-year-old in this grade, especially at this course where his current record stands at four victories and two places from nine attempts. Doesn't have much in hand off this mark of 98, however, and has been finding it tougher than normal to get his head in front of late, finishing runner-up on both starts this season. Was beaten by a decent horse first time up, mind you, and was disadvantaged by racing away from the pace last time. Should make amends here.
EYECATCHER
Cuneo (2.25 Leopardstown)
Progressive sort who has only had seven runs. Won really well last time in a competitive handicap hurdle at this course off a 7lb mark, travelling well throughout before battling on grimly to take the prize. That was his first crack at 3m and he seemed to improve for the step up in trip, which suggests there could be more to come despite the rise in the weights.
