The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Monday
EYECATCHER
The Lion Dancer(4.20 Plumpton)
Winless in six starts under rules for Charlie Mann but looked useful when winning a Loughrea point-to-point in April last year, beating Fresh New Dawn (now trained by Olly Murphy) by five lengths. That runner is now rated 110 and it would be disappointing if The Lion Dancer couldn't capitalise off a mark in the mid 80s in the near future. The Lion Dancer has been heavily punted the last twice and should be noted in the market beforehand.
IRISH ANGLE
This mile maiden looks a match between Port Lions and Irish Minister and, with the former set to go off favourite once more, I'm willing to take him on with Joseph O'Brien's three-year-old. He's improved for every run and went close to getting off the mark when just finding a well-backed newcomer too good here last month. He pulled over two lengths clear of his rivals that day and, although he's rated 2lb below Port Lions, that rival seems to always find one too good.
