BIG-RACE BANKER

Restorer (4.10 Redcar)

Ian Williams won the Zetland Gold Cup in 2014 with Cashpoint and went close with Banditry last year, and he has another exceptional chance of landing the prize in recent scorer Restorer. The six-year-old had been without a win since landing a Listed prize in October 2015 for William Muir but off his reduced mark, he landed a gamble for Williams and owner Marwan Koukash on debut for connections when hacking up off a mark of 95 at Chester's May meeting. Breaking well from stall four, he made every yard of the running, winning by just under two lengths come the line with plenty more in the locker. Raised just 5lb for that success, Restorer looks the type to follow up.

EYECATCHER

(3.50 Chelmsford)

Sneaking into the bottom of this 0-85 contest off a mark of 73, Graceful Lady can go close off a low racing weight of 8st 5lb after Darragh Keenan's claim is factored in. Robert Eddery's five-year-old mare proved a revelation last season with four victories and six places in a race-heavy season, but still looks reasonably-handicapped and will be ready to resume winning ways after her reappearance sixth at Ascot. Having been held up, she was still last with a furlong to go but ran on well late in the day to pass five rivals under hands and heels. She'll improve plenty for that and this former course-and-distance winner should go close.
