The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Monday

BANKER

Ply(3.20 Kempton)

He can't lose, can he? Roger Charlton's son of Dubawi has improved hand over fist since being gelded over the summer and his last two victories at Kempton have been super impressive. Breaking the course record despite being eased down to win a Class 4 handicap in September, Ply came back and showed his fantastic turn of foot once more when winning a qualifier for this series final last month. He won by three lengths on that occasion but it could have been six or seven. He's been put up 11lb in the weights for that, but he's the best horse in the race and should win.

DARK HORSE

Hardtorock(3.40 Plumpton)

Likely to go off a decent price, Hardtorock gets in off a really low weight and has the assistance of 5lb claimer Michael Heard in this 2m4f handicap chase. The eight-year-old beat Orchestrated three starts back at Fontwell off 6lb lower and after a poor run when not staying the trip at Worcester, he finished two-lengths third behind that rival despite finding himself in serious trouble early on. The drop in trip is a slight negative, but the uphill finish will suit and Heard can hopefully galvanise him home.
