The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with two to follow on Friday

BANKER

James Park Woods(7.45 Wolverhampton)

This son of Australia was well punted on debut for Ralph Beckett, but in hindsight stood no chance in a race that was won by subsequent Group 1 Jean-Luc Lagardere winner Royal Marine. There was plenty of strength in depth too, as the second, third and sixth have all scored since as well. I then tipped James Park Woods to provide further strength to that form at Newmarket last time, but he did plenty wrong in the race, including not handling the track very well, and did well to finish second to another useful prospect. Provided he handles the all-weather, he looks a banker to get off the mark at the third attempt.

EYECATCHER

White Moon(2.25 Cheltenham)

An attractive white gelding who made an instant impact for trainer Colin Tizzard last season when winning his first three starts under Rules, beating some useful rivals in the process. You can ignore his last run when something was clearly amiss. Tizzard stated after his first victory that he was going to be a lovely chaser and it's no surprise to see him embark on his career over fences sooner rather than later. Hopefully recent wind surgery will bring about further improvement.
