BANKER

Agamemmon(12.40 Bangor)

This consistent five-year-old son of Getaway, who has form figures of 1442342 under rules, boasts by far the best pieces of form in this contest and should score on his second outing for Tom George. Formerly trained by Tom Lacey, Agamemmon finished fourth behind subsequent Grade 1 fifth Western Ryder in a Listed contest at Ascot as well as being only 11 lengths behind Bags Groove last season. He was slightly disappointing first time up this year when travelling extremely well, but should make amends here.

EYECATCHER

Reivers Lodge(1.35 Ayr)

Susan Corbett's horses are often looked over in the market and Reivers Lodge, who won off a mark of 95 last time out, can defy a 9lb rise in the weights. He wasn't fancied in the market before the 2m6½f Kelso handicap last time out, but proved punters all wrong by denying the 13-8 favourite Chapel Stile despite idling, with the front two miles clear. He has done most of his racing on good ground, but can go well with plenty of cut and should follow up.

IRISH ANGLE

Glenabo Bridge(4.00 Fairyhouse)

Oliver McKiernan's unexposed six-year-old looks set to send Fairyhouse punters home happy as the former point-to-point winner remains on a very lenient mark of 87 and will appreciate the step up in trip to 2m4f. He showed brief signs of promise in maiden hurdle company but improved dramatically when switched to handicaps to finish fourth of 16 at this course eight days ago. Left on the same mark, he will go close.
