The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with three to follow on Sunday

Warren Greatrex has a powerful force to go into battle with this season
Warren Greatrex: trainer of The Butcher Said

BANKER

The Butcher Said (4.00 Sandown)

Ran a very good race when second of 23 on debut for former trainer Emmet Mullins and the form of that race is working out well – the winner, third and fourth have won since. Bought at Goffs for €135,000 by current connections and looks to repay some of his price-tag straight away. The four-year-old could be a very useful hurdler if trainer Warren Greatrex goes down that route with him after he's successful here.

EYECATCHER

Jameson(1.20 Sandown)

Showed some good form last season for Nicky Henderson and ran well to finish second behind a classy type on chase debut for Nigel Twiston-Davies last month. The winner, West Approach, has rating of 157 and was only giving 3lb to Jameson, who is rated 28lb lower. However, the unexposed five-year-old got within five lengths. This represents a much easier task and he should go close.

IRISH ANGLE

Champagne Pat(3.20 Navan)

Sent off big prices since winning a 19-runner maiden hurdle at Gowran Park last November, Champagne Pat ran a career-best last time out when second behind reopposing rival Lex Talionis at Punchestown. The Jonathan Sweeney-trained four-year-old was always prominent and looked like holding off a number of challenges but just got run out of it close home. He's 2lb better off with Lex Talionis here for a neck defeat, and can record his second career success.
