The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with three to follow on Saturday
BANKER
Eqtidaar (2.45 Leicester)
The clear class angle in this Listed contest, Eqtidaar looks a banker to take the prize as long as the heavens don't open. The Invincible Spirit colt improved no-end last season and hit the heights when staying on powerfully to win the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup on just his fifth career start. He struggled against older horses in the July Cup on his penultimate outing, while heavy ground eliminated any chance he had at Haydock last time out. He now takes a massive drop down in class and with the extra furlong in his favour, he will take a lot of beating.
GOOD THING
Sapa Inca is another standout bet today as she makes just her second start over staying trips and looks a filly to progress through the grades this season. Rated just 74 after three runs over inadequate trips last year, Sapa Inca, a daughter of Galileo, was boxed for room for much of the Kempton straight and never got the chance to make her impact. She would have won that day if Fanning got out and given she's just gone up 1lb in the weights, she looks a shoe-in here.
EYECATCHER
Humble Hero (1.50 Sandown)
Dan Skelton would have targeted this wealthy prize all season for Humble Hero, who has had just three starts for the yard since moving from William Haggas. Rated 91 on the Flat, Humble Hero looks pretty well treated off 127 in this sphere and based on the way he travelled into the race at Newbury last time out when successful, he is likely to trade pretty short in running. He puts his head down and tries and looks an exceptional each-way bet at around 10-1 for his in-form connections.
