Archie Watson is fantastic at improving horses he obtains from other yards and this former Michael Bell-trained three-year-old looks another set to climb the ranks over the winter. A consistent performer with a victory and eight places from 13 career starts, Choice Encounter could be seen as pretty exposed, but Watson has now fitted cheekpieces, which should see him improve. He has a nice draw in stall six and ran extremely well on stable debut over a furlong shorter here last time out.
