The Punt Daily: Tom Collins with one to follow on Sunday
GOOD THING
Soft ground and a sprint handicap at Goodwood are Quench Dolly's ideal conditions and John Gallagher's five-year-old gets that today, albeit over 6f instead of the minimum trip. A two-time winner at this track from three attempts, Quench Dolly finds herself competing off a mark of 83 after some down-the-field runs, a whole 10lb lower than when last successful here in August 2017. She has only won once since from 13 starts but she has been set some tough tasks, including three cracks at Listed prizes, and she should relish the drop down to a 0-85 handicap. She showed promise here last time out and I expect her to go close in a field full of out-of-form sorts.
