The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Thursday afternoon
BANKER
Colouring(1.20 Lingfield)
Keen-going filly who was green as grass on debut at Haydock, when also not handling the soft ground. Much better on two all-weather starts since, finishing runner-up on both occasions, and it is worth marking up for her performance last time when pulling too hard early. She should get a decent early pace to run at this time around and the drop in trip will suit.
IRISH ANGLE
I'm a big fan of 7lb conditional rider Oakley Brown and he will have a great season now teaming up with Joseph O'Brien. The duo are represented by Guttural in this 2m handicap hurdle, a five-year-old who steps out of novice company having shown plenty of promise without getting his head in front. On paper it appears that he was stuffed last time out, finishing 44 lengths behind the winner, but he ran well for a long way and bumped into a smart sort in Dancing On My Own, who is rated 140. Guttural has been given a mark of 102 and should make a mockery of that straight away.
