Prolific hurdler who won four of five starts in that sphere in winter/spring last year, going from a rating of 113 up to 136 in three big hits. Disappointed on his final hurdling start at the Punchestown festival off his new mark after a short break and was subsequently sent chasing. Joseph O'Brien's seven-year-old didn't feature at the business end on his first two outings at around two-and-a-half miles but won readily when last seen (3m1f) and remains unexposed over this trip. Beat Early Doors, who was rated 152 over hurdles, by four lengths that day and could be chucked in off his light weight here.

EYECATCHER

(3.30 Southwell)

This is a pretty competitive 5f handicap and all five have clear form claims, but I'm going to stick with Southwell specialist Zylan, who I tipped in The Punt eight days ago when he scored by a head at odds of 11-4. He will probably be a bigger price for this given the strength in depth, but he's only gone up 4lb for that success (1lb wrong under a penalty) and the booking of Paula Muir actually means he can run off 1lb lower thanks to her claim. His form figures at this course reads 1121114721 and he is certain to go close.
